Yanwu got interested in biology since he was a kid. Currently, He is working on RNA metabolism in Ciosk lab. He enjoys jogging and learning new stuff. Yanwu is also a member of Starship Factory

Yanwu is working on mRNA-based regulation of fat metabolism in Caenorhabditis elegans. He analyzed C. elegans RNAseq data and identified negative feedback interaction of two factors. In addtion, he used mathematic modeling to predict the behaviors of the two factors.

Worm gene ID convertor

In each model oragnism, there are several naming systems for genes. Different analysis tools accept different kind of gene IDs. When you have tens or hudurans genes, there is no easy way to convert gene IDs between each other. Go to Worm gene ID convertor

Locate T-DNA transgene insertion in genome

T-DNA transformation is a major method used for plant transgene. If you have a interested T-DNA transgene line and genomic DNA sequencing data, you may want to know the location of the T-DNA in genome. Weather Logger
